AMMA means mama. In our language we call our mothers AMMA.

Every body has its own way to show love to their mothers. I chose a different way to show my love to my mother. In 2003 I wrote a poem in SINDHI language for my mother. Its heading was AMMA. Then I transferred that poem on a lined fabric and embroidered it with black thread, then got it framed.

I sent it to my mother on mother’s day. When she opened it, she was crying with a smile 🙂

that frame is still hanging in her room.

The people who saw that frame, wished that their daughters could do the same for them.

Its an idea for you all, you can do it in your language.
