Carrots- grated one cup

Rice- soaked half cup

Milk- 2 litters

Sugar- to taste

Cardamoms- two whole

Almonds and Pistachio- peeled and crushed half cup

Screw Pine (Kewra water)-one table spoon

METHOD:Put milk in a deep pan. Add rice, cardamom and carrots. leave to cook on medium flame. When thickened, add sugar and kewra water. Cook for 10-15 minutes more, turn off the flame. Discard cardamoms and beat with a beater for a minute. Don’t make paste of it.

Add dry fruit. Leave some dry fruit for garnishing. Put gajrella in a bowl, sprinkle remaining dry fruit on the top.Leave to cool at room temperature then keep in refrigerator  to chill

Ready to eat 🙂
