Try these different type of fritters. This is my own recipe I create it.
Bihh- half KG peeled and sliced
Chickpea flour (besan)-one cup
Salt – to taste
Baking soda- two pinches
Chili powder- one tea spoon
Raw mango powder- two table spoon
Mint leaves- two table spoons chopped
Water- as required
Oil- for deep frying
METHOD: Boil the slices of bihh. When tender drain the water and keep them on a side to cool. Mix salt and mango powder well and add a little water in it. It will become like a thick paste.
Take bihh slices one by one and fill the holes with that paste.
Mix chickpea flour, salt, chili powder and mint leaves in a bowl. Add half cup water and mix it well. Make a batter of medium consistency.
Heat the oil in a deep pan or wok. Dip bihh slices in the batter one by one and fry them till they become golden.Take them out from the oil and and keep on a tissue paper in plate. Serve with tomato ketchup or any chutny.
