This is a very easy and delicious sweet dish.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Daal moong- one cup
  • Milk- 2 cups
  • Sugar- Half cup
  • Ghee (clarified butter)- 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder- half tsp
  • Pistachio and almonds for garnishing- crushed

METHOD:

  • Cook daal in milk. When soft, grind it down to a smooth puree. Heat ghee in a pan and cook daal mixture til it changes color. Add sugar and cardamom powder . When mixture thickens, set on a greased tray and cut into desired shapes or serve as it is. Garnish with crushed pistachio an almonds.Enjoy 🙂
